Miller, Bramlett to Appear on ESPN Networks as Team USA Defends World Cup

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Fresh off claiming ISF World Championship gold with the United States Women’s National Team, Mississippi State head coach Jay Miller and Chelsea Bramlett have ventured to Oklahoma City in hopes of helping the Red, White and Blue to a successful defense of the KFC World Cup of Softball.

The five-day event kicks off Thursday, and Bulldog fans can watch all Team USA games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3.com.

Miller’s squad opens play against Canada at 7 p.m. Thursday live on ESPN. ESPN will once again feature the U.S. Friday night as the Americans meet defending Olympic gold medalist Japan in a rematch of the ISF World Championship gold medal game.

The United States will play a twin bill on Saturday, meeting the USA Futures and Japan. The U.S. Futures game will be contested at 11 a.m., but aired at 1 p.m. on ESPN. Saturday night’s matchup with Japan will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

Sunday’s pair of games will see a 4 p.m. rematch against Canada on ESPN2 and a 7 p.m. showdown with the USA Futures in the only non-televised game of the event.

Monday’s championship game will be televised live at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
