MSU Volleyball Set For Two TV Dates

STARKVILLE, Miss. ‑ Mississippi State’s Volleyball Bulldogs will play a pair of televised matches as part of the Southeastern Conference’s 17‑match broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2010 volleyball campaign announced Wednesday by the SEC.

The league's volleyball TV lineup begins September 19 at 1 p.m. when New Orleans-based Cox Sports TV televises the Mississippi State-Ole Miss match from Oxford, Miss. State later travels to Athens, Ga., October 3 to launch FOX Sports Net’s fall SEC volleyball coverage with a 12 p.m. matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs.

All 11 volleyball‑playing SEC schools are included in the TV package, which includes broadcasts by ESPNU, FOX Sports Net/SportSouth, Comcast Sports Southeast, and Cox Sports TV.

Mississippi State opens its 2010 volleyball schedule August 27‑28 in the Newell‑Grissom Building.  The Bulldogs host UALR, Austin Peay, Texas A&M‑Corpus Christi and Montana in the two‑day, 10‑match Mississippi State Maroon Classic.
