Check in here each week during the 2009 Mississippi State football season for the "Distance MBA - Long Distance Play of the Week". Each Monday afternoon following MSU games this season, a video highlight of a big Bulldog play will be posted below. Week 1 - The Jackson State Game
Corey Broomfield caps Mississippi State scoring against the Tigers with a 43-yard interception return in the fourth quarter.

Week 2 - The Auburn Game
Patrick Hanrahan blocks an Auburn punt and Robert Ellliott scoops up the loose ball and returns it for a TD and 17-14 MSU lead in the second quarter.

Week 3 - The Vanderbilt Game
Sean Brauchle nails a 49-yard field goal in the third quarter to give the Bulldogs a 9-3 lead over the Commodores.

Week 4 - The LSU Game
Tyson Lee scrambles and finds Marcus Green for a 50-yard touchdown pass to cut the Tiger lead to 23-21 in the third period.

Week 5 - The Georgia Tech Game
Leon Berry breaks free for an 89-yard kickoff return and touchdown in the first quarter to trim the Tech lead to 14-7.

Week 6 - The Houston Game
Anthony Dixon carries Cougar defenders with him to complete an impressive 50-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Week 7 - The Middle Tennessee Game
Anthony Dixon rumbles for a 57-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, setting the MSU career rushing mark in the process.

Week 8 - The Florida Game
Johnthan Banks picks off a Tim Tebow pass and returns it 100 yards for a score, giving State a big momentum swing before half.

Week 9 - The Kentucky Game
Tyson Lee play fakes and hits O'Neal Wilder in stride for a 67-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 24-24.

Week 10 - The Alabama Game
Leon Berry returns a kickoff 78 yards late in the contest.

Week 11 - The Arkansas Game
Anthony Dixon breaks free for a 70-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Week 12 - The Ole Miss Game
On fourth-and-10, Chris Relf finds Chad Bumphis for a 34-yard touchdown pass to give State a 27-13 lead in the contest.
