STARKVILLE, Miss. – The 2010 version of Super Bulldog Weekend, Mississippi State’s spring homecoming on the campus, will be held the weekend of April 16-18, Director of Athletics Greg Byrne announced Monday.

While a full schedule of events will be released at a later date, a spring football scrimmage and Southeastern Conference weekend baseball series will continue to be a staple of the three-day event.  State athletic officials are planning for a weekend event bigger than 2009, when Coach Dan Mullen’s first football squad scrimmaged before a state-record 31,606 fans, the 13th-largest spring attendance in the country.  Coach John Cohen’s Diamond Dawgs are scheduled to play a weekend set against Tennessee.

Super Bulldog Weekend 2010 will mark the 25th consecutive year the athletic department has organized a spring weekend full of activities for alumni and fans.
