- Started all 36 games and named to the All-SEC Freshman team and tabbed honorable mention Freshman All-American by CollegeHoops.net.
- Named SEC freshman of the week twice.
- Collected a career-high 10 rebounds against South Carolina (3-13-09).
- Became the first true freshman to start on opening day since Jamont Gordon in 2005-06.
- Led MSU with 156 assists, the third most in the SEC and the most by any MSU freshman in school history.
- Also set freshman records with free throws made (122) and free throws attempted (170), while his 52 steals and 161 3-pointers attempted were second.
