  • Threw 19.1 innings, giving up 18 earned runs (23 total) on 30 hits with 12 strikeouts and 10 walks.
  • Allowed a hit in one-third of an inning in a win over Louisiana-Monroe.
  • Tossed a scoreless inning against Rutgers and two in a win against Evansville at the Bulldog Classic.
  • Threw three scoreless innings against Santa Clara, allowing a hit and striking out two.

2008 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

  • Earned a spot on the SEC's Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

* Made 24 appearances (five starts) and collected a 4-2 record.

  • Paced the Bulldogs with a four-save tally that ranked fifth in the SEC in 2008 and seventh in MSU single-season history.
  • Tossed 59.2 innings, allowing 23 runs (20 earned) on 63 hits with 35 strikeouts and 11 walks.
  • Picked up the final two outs against Southern Illinois at the Bulldog Round-Robin to earn her first collegiate save.
  • Earned her first career win the next day, limiting Wright State to two runs on seven hits in a complete-game effort.
  • Tossed five scoreless innings to defeat Syracuse at the NFCA Leadoff Classic.
  • Claimed her second victory of the Leadoff Classic as she held UMass to five hits and struck out a season-best five.
  • Collected the save with three scoreless innings in a win against UAB.
  • Recorded the final two outs to save the Bulldogs' SEC-opening win at Auburn
  • Earned her fourth save as she allowed a run and hit with a strikeout over 1.2 innings against Ole Miss.
  • Defeated Georgetown as she struck out three in a complete-game, two-hit shutout.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB HIGHLIGHTS

  • Prepped at Mooreville High School for Coach Perry Wilburn, earning District Player of the Year four times and all-state accolades twice during her high school career.
  • Compiled a 79-19 career record with a 0.50 ERA and 1,057 strikeouts.
  • Posted a career .400 batting average at the plate, driving in 160 runs.
  • Claimed her second-straight Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal Player of the Year honors as a senior after going 20-4 with 235 strikeouts and a 0.46 ERA and leading the Lady Troopers to the 2007 Mississippi 3A state semifinals.
  • Also hurled 11 shutouts and three no-hitters in her final prep campaign.
  • Named Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal Player of the Year, all-region and all-Lee County as a junior.
  • Played travel ball during the summer of 2005 for Tommy Orndorff's Virginia Shamrocks team that won ASA Gold Nationals.
